The short version: we collect what you give us to run your family's academy, we use it for nothing else, we sell nothing, we show no ads inside the academy — and some things are unmeasured by design: we never record what anyone confesses or when, the content of an examen, hidden works, or a rule of life. Those belong to God and your conscience, not a database.
Lumen Family Academy is a brand of Regenerative Education Project LLC, a Kansas limited liability company, 4615 N Cypress Dr, Ste 320, Bel Aire, KS 67226. In October 2026, Regenerative Education Project LLC took over running Lumen Family Academy. Nothing about how we handle your information changed, and any text-message choice you made with Lumen Family Academy stays as you set it.
From the signup form and onboarding call: your name, email, phone, guide names, and your children's first names and ages, so we can prepare your family's setup. From your use of the academy: the progress your family's Guide records — mastery, badges, points, book and service logs, calendar events, and sacramental milestones as dates of record (the same facts a parish register holds).
To operate your dashboard, prepare your onboarding call, and send you service emails (billing reminders, your weekly Guide brief), and, if you asked for the Playbook, a trial or our survey, follow-up emails about that request. We do not sell your family's data, we never show ads inside the academy, and we do not use your data to train anything. Your family's academy records (progress, logs, milestones and children's information) are never sent to analytics or advertising services.
Our public website (not the family dashboard) uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to count page visits and actions such as a Playbook download, a trial signup or a booking click. It uses cookies and records things like your device type, approximate location and the page that referred you. We do not send your name, email or phone number to Google Analytics. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
When you arrive from a link we share, we save the campaign name and any click code in the link (for example gclid or fbclid) with your signup, so we know which door you came through.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site still works without them. Text-message consent and mobile numbers are handled only as described in the SMS section below and are never shared for advertising.
We collect mobile numbers on our website forms (including the Playbook download and 7-Day Free Trial signup on lumenfamilyacademy.com) and during onboarding. If you check the optional SMS consent box and submit, we may send recurring conversational text messages from Lumen Family Academy, a brand of Regenerative Education Project LLC, about your request, Catholic family education resources, Playbook or trial follow-up, and (for families who sign up and check the Customer Success text box) Customer Success messages about scheduling their welcome call and weekly Parent Loop check-in. Message frequency varies, up to 8 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not rent, exchange, or transfer your mobile number or opt-in status to anyone for their marketing. Consent is not a condition of downloading free resources or starting a trial. A parent sets up and controls everything about a child. Children have no accounts, no logins and no email addresses in our system, and we never ask a child for contact details.
During lessons, a child talks with LUMEN's voice guide, which is an AI. What the child says is turned into text so the guide can answer. The lesson's progress is written to your family's record, along with a few plain notes the guide keeps between lessons: where the child stopped, what to come back to, and things the child said they liked. When you upload a photo of a finished worksheet, it is read so the work can be marked. Your family's Guide can see these notes and clear them. None of it is used for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Supabase hosts our database (encrypted at rest, US region). Stripe processes payments — we never see your card number. Netlify hosts this site and receives signup form submissions. Brevo sends our emails and holds our email lists. Twilio delivers voice and SMS for Customer Success when you have opted in. Vapi runs our AI voice concierge for Customer Success calls, using its speech-recognition and language-model providers; calls are recorded and transcribed so our team can follow up. Anthropic (Claude) writes the voice guide's replies during lessons and reads uploaded worksheet photos. ElevenLabs, and in some lesson rooms OpenAI, turn speech into text and text into speech during voice lessons. Resend sends some of our account and progress emails. Google (Analytics) receives the website measurement data described above. That's the whole list.
Email concierge@lumenfamilyacademy.com at any time to export your family's complete data (you can also download a backup yourself from the dashboard, any time) or to delete everything we hold; deletion is completed within 30 days. If you cancel, you keep read and export access to your records — we will never hold your family's formation history hostage.
If this policy changes materially, we email every account before the change takes effect.
