The short version: we collect what you give us to run your family's academy, we use it for nothing else, we sell nothing, we show no ads — and some things are unmeasured by design: we never record what anyone confesses or when, the content of an examen, hidden works, or a rule of life. Those belong to God and your conscience, not a database.
From the signup form and onboarding call: your name, email, phone, guide names, and your children's first names and ages, so the founder can prepare your family's setup. From your use of the academy: the progress your family's Guide records — mastery, badges, points, book and service logs, calendar events, and sacramental milestones as dates of record (the same facts a parish register holds).
To operate your dashboard, prepare your onboarding call, and send you service emails (billing reminders, your weekly Guide brief). We do not sell or share your family's data with anyone, we do not advertise, and we do not use your data to train anything.
We collect mobile numbers on our website forms (including the Playbook download and 7-Day Free Trial signup on lumenfamilyacademy.com) and during onboarding. If you check the optional SMS consent box and submit, we may send recurring conversational text messages from Lumen Family Academy about your request, Catholic family education resources, Playbook or trial follow-up, and (for enrolled families) Customer Success messages such as Parent Loop interview scheduling. Message frequency varies with the conversation (typically up to 8 messages per week while we are in conversation; fewer otherwise). Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not rent, exchange, or transfer your mobile number or opt-in status to anyone for their marketing. Consent is not a condition of downloading free resources or starting a trial. All information about children is provided and controlled by a parent. Children have no accounts, no logins, and no email addresses in our system, and we never collect information directly from a child.
Supabase hosts our database (encrypted at rest, US region). Stripe processes payments — we never see your card number. Netlify hosts this site and receives signup form submissions. Twilio delivers voice and SMS for Customer Success when you have opted in. That's the whole list.
Email concierge@lumenfamilyacademy.com at any time to export your family's complete data (you can also download a backup yourself from the dashboard, any time) or to delete everything we hold; deletion is completed within 30 days. If you cancel, you keep read and export access to your records — we will never hold your family's formation history hostage.
If this policy changes materially, we email every account before the change takes effect.
